Nerdily Ever After

A friend of mine asked me and another friend to shoot her wedding for her. She just wanted some simple photographs nothing fancy. We shoot the day of the wedding a few photos but because of the rain we couldn't shoot everything so the next day they got all dressed back up and we shot off site.

Letters From the Road

I was looking at some photos I had experimented with during a class while in college decided to play with and expand on the idea I had been working with then. Here is the start of one. Any feedback would be appreciated.

On other news with whats been going on with me. I was accepted into the Honors Program at UMES and I am receiving a scholarship that covers tuition and mandatory fees. I am considering double majoring but wont know until I go to Enrollment 101 to find out which classes will count that I have taken so far.

The Second House on Rt 12

Every day I drive down the same road to work. I always noticed that this road had many abandoned properties but I didn't realize exactly how many until I counted them on my way home. There was at least twenty. One house I drove by I couldn't figure out weather or not it was abandoned and I kept looking for a sign that it was. One day I was sure the front door was just sitting opened when I started paying more attention to that house and to my luck it was and the property was abandoned. Below are a few of the shots I got of the property.

Nancy & Tay

So a friend of mine recently got engaged and she asked me to do some engagement photos for her. I told her I would be more than happy to do so. Here are a few of the shots.

Senior Portrait

Sorry it has been so long since I last posted but I've been very busy with a new job and classes. These photos I did for a friends daughter. She needed her senior portraits done and she really didn't have to much of an opinion where they where done. She is a very beautiful young woman and I was excited to do them. This was my first time taking senior portraits for someone. We did a few in her backyard and then went to her church and lastly took only a couple at the park in town. It had been freezing that day and she was wearing a dress. She was great and opened to anything I suggested to her. Below are a few of the shots I did for her. The left two shots are so yellow/orange because the sun was setting and shinning in through the stain glass windows while I was shooting. That was the natural light.

Camp Agape Video

Ok so it's been awhile since I've posted. I have wanted to but I was sick for a month in the hospital once and then been sick off and on after that month. Also I have been working on trying to find a job which I can now say I have finally found one. I am now an business intern for Orbital Science. In order to do this internship I had to go back to school so I am now working towards a second degree in business management.

Before I became sick I had been working on a video of Camp Agape to help promote the camp. I worked on this video for free out of pure boredom of not having a job. The people I did this video for are very happy with the results. I am happy with it myself but it really made me miss the kids when I was going though all the footage and listening to what they had to say.

I am really hoping that I will have the opportunity to go back and work with these kids again. They where amazing kids. Here is the video I created.
