This past Sunday the Baltimore Aquarium had their pay what you want day and since I have never been and I have been wanting to go Ben and I got in his car Sunday morning and drove the two hours to Baltimore. Once arriving we had to stand in line for about an hour and a half before even getting our tickets to go in. Then after getting our tickets we had to wait another half an hour before even being able to enter the aquarium. Our hands and toes where freezing by that point. We were lucky it wasn't a windy or rainy day.
I did get the chance to shoot a bit of the harbor while waiting in the line and then once in the aquarium was able to get a few good shots. The aquarium was pretty low lit and you weren't allowed to use flash so it was hard to get many good photos. Even harder with the fact their were so many people crowding everywhere. Below are a few of the ones I took and have had the chance to edit. I still have to go though the rest and figure out which ones aren't blurry. Hope you all enjoy.

Movement Foward
I was going though some old folders of work I had and thought it would be cool to share some work I did while at Montserrat. Since I haven't really had much time to do any new work I thought that showing where I started might be fun. Below is a couple photographs I did when learning some new techniques in the studio. I thought they were pretty cool.

A Bit of Work
I haven't done any work in awhile but today I decided to do a bit of painting. Here is the start of what I am working on. I just felt like I needed to do some painting. I took two panels that I had started back my senior year at Montserrat and decided to cover them up and work on top of them to create something new. The top one started out mostly a green color and the bottom one started out with a pink background. The top one I am working with spray paint and acrylic paint. The bottom one I am working with oil.
I also worked on a few photographs last month to get some practice since I haven't picked up my camera or used photoshop in a long while. What I came out with is below. I haven't really been inspired much to pick up my camera and shoot. My camera has pretty much been sitting in it's case. I don't really have anything that excites me enough to want to take it out. So it is rare now for me to take it out and shoot. Maybe something with get me excited and want to do something this year.

Hurricane Sandy
I know I haven't posted in awhile but I had been very busy with school and all the requirements of being an honor student. I was finally had the chance to work on the photographs I took the day after Hurricane Sandy. Below are a select few I've chosen to touch up a bit. There will be more of these to come. I couldn't take all the photos I wanted cause I didn't have boots tall enough to go though some of the water. All of these where taken in Ocean City Maryland.

Nerdily Ever After
A friend of mine asked me and another friend to shoot her wedding for her. She just wanted some simple photographs nothing fancy. We shoot the day of the wedding a few photos but because of the rain we couldn't shoot everything so the next day they got all dressed back up and we shot off site.

Letters From the Road
I was looking at some photos I had experimented with during a class while in college decided to play with and expand on the idea I had been working with then. Here is the start of one. Any feedback would be appreciated.
On other news with whats been going on with me. I was accepted into the Honors Program at UMES and I am receiving a scholarship that covers tuition and mandatory fees. I am considering double majoring but wont know until I go to Enrollment 101 to find out which classes will count that I have taken so far.
